When every status needed for a shipment to be released has been set it will appear in the forwarders Ready shipments.
In there, they can decide to release a shipment with a specific timeslot they would prefer or just release the shipment so the trucker can plan it in a Milkrun. It is also possible to batch select multiple shipments and release them together.
If a shipment cannot be released for some reason we will inform the user about this in a warning.
During the pilot phase it's key to closely communicate the rare pickups by the truckers. To avoid extra work, forwarders will find a button on top of their list "ready shipments" called "I'm done releasing". Once clicked the trucking partners will be informed that your company is done with releasing shipment for the current period, so they know that they can start planning.
On the truckers view, they will find a list of all forwarders clicked this button including a timestamp.
This setting will be canceled every morning shortly after 6am.
